We worked with Sierra, a family-owned pioneer with over five decades of climate mapping expertise, to craft a brand identity that reflects their legacy of being at the forefront of climate intelligence. Known for specialises in empowering the climate economy with precision using advanced AI, satellite analytics, and machine learning.
Our design solution centered on evolving the dot of the lowercase ‘i’ into a distinctive symbol of innovation and progress. This adapted ‘dot’ became the foundation of Sierra’s unified group identity, versatile, recognisable, and rich in meaning. The new logo balances geometric structure with organic fluidity, capturing the essence of climate mapping and nature itself.
Inspired by natural textures, ice, earth, and glass, we introduced a series of glistening 3D elements that animate across digital and physical touchpoints. These were designed to feel crafted and human, while still grounded in scientific clarity.
The identity features a bespoke wordmark based on “Aeonik”, featuring subtle modifications like the shortened tail on the ‘a’ and a custom ‘i’ that informed the rounded visual language throughout. Supporting typeface Space Grotesk brings technical precision and modernity to the system—striking a balance between confidence and clarity.
